There’s no question that flowers have become a staple when it comes to freshening up your living space or just letting someone know you’re thinking about them. But not all of us are a fan of a bouquet with a short vase life. Luckily for all the flower lovers out there, The Bouqs has you covered. Our flowers are grown on sustainable, eco-friendly farms and cut right when you order to ensure that they’ll stay as vibrant and fresh as they were on the fields! Because who likes a wilted Bouq? Not us!
We deliver flowers across the United States and around the world. If you want to send flowers internationally, trust us to deliver your most heartfelt messages. Because of our partnerships with local florists and flower growers, we are able to ensure that bouquets are delivered fresh from the field and on time. Our flower arrangements are artfully created and delivered perfectly arranged by professional florists.

The Bouqs Co. does offer subscription services, at a discount of about 25%. You can schedule a regularly delivery of bouquets on a monthly or weekly basis, or schedule out event-specific gifting. For example, in one subscription order, you can book flower deliveries for someone's anniversary, Valentine's Day, and birthday — a great way to avoid last-minute scrambles.
These two songs are from Florist's 2015 EP, Holdly, while the band closes its Tiny Desk concert with "1914," a track from its new debut full-length, The Birds Outside Sang. On drums, you'll find a Tiny Desk alum in Felix Walworth, who was first here with Bellows, then Eskimeaux; all of these musicians are connected in some way to the Epoch, a collective from New York City. It's a creative friendship with stories to share, and its members' songs feel best in intimate settings, like a desk surrounded by old and new friends.

In the Netherlands, the first horticultural college was founded in 1896 in Naaldwijk; the second horticultural college was founded in 1897 in Aalsmeer. In 1926, the first national professional qualification examinations in floristry were held in the Netherlands. The horticultural college in Aalsmeer celebrated its 75th anniversary in 1972 and in 1997 its 100th anniversary. Since 1926 is the horticultural college in Aalsmeer was called the ‘Rijks Middelbare Tuinbouw School’ (RTMS). The first professional floristry education started at the RMTS in 1968. The first professor in floristry at the horticultural college in Aalsmeer was Mr. Theo Boerma. In 1972 Theo Boerma started teaching professional evening courses for the floristry diploma: vakdiploma Bloemist-Winkelier. In 1980 Theo Boerma and his wife José Boerma founded the first privately owned floristry school; Boerma Instituut International Floral Design School in Aalsmeer. The floristry diploma was recognized by the Dutch government until 1996. When the borders of Europe opened, the diploma was no longer needed but professional training for Dutch and international students is still organised by the Boerma Instituut.
